I John 2:18-19 ~ The Characteristics of False Teaching and of a False Christian

"The spirit of Satan behind the world’s system is antichrist. Its allurement is meant to draw me in and take me away from the things of Christ mentally and emotionally. That might seem harmless. But if we understand that the world’s system is antichrist, it is not just a no-no for a Christian. It is not just a command in the Bible. We must consider - do I really want to partake in something energized by a spirit that opposes Jesus Christ my Lord?  Do I want to leave my close intimate relationship and fellowship with Jesus Christ and give myself over to something Satan has designed to take Christ's place in my life? The answer should be no.  But sometimes we do not see it that way."

I John 2:20-25 ~ The Characteristics of True Believers

"Here is the bottom line of this whole thing, a person that belongs to Christ will remain in God's household. Will. Not 'might' or 'should' but will. The person who does not remain in Christ and in the truth of Christ is not of Christ. How is it that true believers remain with Christ and His truth and they don't leave? It is because they have the anointing of God. Everyone who is born of the Spirit of God has the Spirit of God in them and that anointing teaches them from within. That anointing is going to work in their minds and in their hearts. It will cause them to embrace the truth, it will change their life, and they will remain."
