The true fruit and the true character of somebody that knows Jesus Christ is somebody that by the power of the Holy Spirit is led down that straight and narrow path, which would be impossible for a human being to go down except it be by the grace and power of God. And you ask, "Why?" Going back to my opening statement, because it does not fit in with what is around us. It does not fit in with what the world has to offer. To go down that path is a very foolish thing. To give up the only life that you have, and to give up what the world has to offer for the sake of Jesus Christ, that is very foolish unless it is the grace and power of God.
