II Peter 1:6 ~ The Process of Growth

He is talking about a process. In the actual process itself of one function or level of growth, let that supply the next step. All of these are levels of maturity. All of these are levels of development that the Lord wants to create within us. So in verses 2 through 11 is Peter's way of sharing with us what is supposed to be happening in our life and what is supposed be happening in the church. But this is on an individual basis. How a person builds upon the foundation of Jesus Christ is up to each individual. You are responsible and I am responsible for how we build upon that relationship. Not in the sense that we do the building.  But we are responsible for those things that we have got involved with.
