We are all supposed to walk by the same rule. And we are supposed to all think - not identical individual thoughts, but the frame of mind is to be the same. Press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus. Leaving everything else behind. Paul says, In comparison to what the world has to offer I consider it loss. If I give it up, I consider it loss so that I can gain Christ. We are always in that quandary. If I choose something for myself or something of the world, then I have to lose in learning about and understanding Christ. If I choose Christ, then I am going to lose something of the world. We are always in that dilemma. Paul says the mature frame of mind says, "My choice is to benefit in Christ and consider everything else loss."
