James Chapter 4

James 4:1-3 ~ The Instruction Concerning the World Part 1

The one who becomes a friend of the world is establishing themselves as an enemy of God. Friendship with the world is hostility against God. You might say, "Well, what is the world?" Anything. Anything that does not have to do with God. That eliminates 99% of our activities but that is what it says. 

So we have to ask the question, Is it of the Lord?
