• Psalms 76 – 77 ~ A Psalm of Wrath and A Psalm of Depression

"There is nothing I can do about this bad day or this hard time that I am going through. You cannot change it. But one thing we can do is consider the things of the Lord. Go back, like Paul says, and see ourselves as in the spirit realm in Christ. He has made me alive, raised me from the spiritual dead, and seated me with Christ. Man, that is a fixed position. I will be there forever. And there is not a thing Satan can do to me. So no matter how my flesh feels or what kind of day I am going through, it is real, it is there, but Christ is real and He is there too. Our consideration and our attention and our remembrance ought to be on our relationship with Jesus Christ."
  • Psalms 79 – 81

My greatest fear is that I am going to rebel against the Lord to the point that He gives me over to whatever I want. It is God's gift to me that He should put a desire in my heart for His Word. It is God's gift to me that He should minister to me, and bless me, and open up my heart to receive from His Spirit. God help me if I should ever arrive at a point where He says, "If you are going to continually fight against Me then I am just going to give you over to your desires."
