Romans Chapter 8

Romans 8:5-8 ~ The Mental Condition of the Non-Believer

Those who are in the flesh and are walking according to the flesh, they are minding the things of the flesh. So when you mention something to them - it could be church, it could be Bible, it could be anything in life - right away their response is going to be according to the human.   Whatever is reasonable, logical, whatever they think is right, whatever they feel. But the ones who are walking according to God's Spirit, they are minding the things of the Spirit. The Bible says man does not have the ability and capacity in his own human resources to function with the spiritual things of God. It is through God's Spirit that we are able to understand and function with the things of God.
